Supervising Physician – North Carolina
Well-Managed Physiatry Consulting Practice | Skilled Nursing Facilities
We are seeking a North Carolina-licensed physician in good standing to serve as the supervising physician for a well-established practice providing physiatry consulting services to skilled nursing facilities throughout North Carolina.
This is a low-demand supervisory role. Our NPs are experienced and have an experienced NP supervisor, as well as peer support available for day-to-day clinical questions and support. The NP's are consultants only, and the patients also have a medical director, primary physician, and primary care NP. The physician’s primary role is to provide physician oversight and meet applicable North Carolina licensing and regulatory requirements.
Position Details:
- Typically 4–5 NPs, with the number fluctuating based on practice needs.
- Compensation: $300 per NP per month.
- Typical compensation of approximately $1,200–$1,500/month.
- Minimal administrative and clinical burden.
- No expectation of routine patient visits.
- Well-organized and established practice.
- Compensation increases as the number of NPs grows.
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina physician license.
- Physician in good standing.
- Willingness to serve as supervising physician and provide appropriate physician oversight.
- Comfortable working with an NP-led clinical team.
